Personal Training – After following the Body For Life program for a year, I came to see Margie with a list of goals I still wanted to achieve: lose fat, learn good exercise techniques and gain a better body shape. Margie helped me refocus my efforts in the gym by teaching me new exercises and giving my training routine a much-needed cardio boost. Margie has also helped me recognise areas of weakness I had ignored before, like core strength and flexibility. A great motivational tool Margie uses is the food and exercise diary. I’d convinced myself that rice cakes with peanut butter after work were a great pre-workout snack – they don’t look so good on paper.
Margie has motivated me to clean up my diet where needed, and the results have been rapid.
My body fat percentage went from 23% to 17% in my three months with Margie, and my weight went from 91kg to 82kg.
I told many of my friends and colleagues that I was starting with Margie, and they have commented swiftly on my achievements.
It’s noticeable when I see someone I haven’t seen. Great comments on my successes to date provide ongoing motivation to achieve.
