I have had a bad back due to an injury over 15 years ago. I had given up on all forms of exercise as I couldn’t stand for too long due to the pain. Even something as simple as taking off a jumper could cause my back to spasm and leave me bed-ridden. I would count it a good week if I got through with one or two pain-free days.
I started training with Margie just over a year ago. We had to start slowly as I was unfit and had virtually no muscle tone! Margie patiently tailored a weekly Pilates workout program that I could manage. I was only hoping for a bit of muscle tone in my stomach to help me stand that little longer. I was so unfit I could hardly do anything before I started to feel faint. Margie was always optimistic and kept telling me that I’d be able to do much more. I nodded politely, but I didn’t believe her!
A year later, I go to the gym once a week, do yoga once a week, and play basketball on the weekends.
My body shape has changed, and my posture is 100% better. I can’t begin to describe how big an improvement Margie has made to my life.
I never thought when I started training with her that I would be able to feel this good. Now I can run, I lift weights, and most days are entirely pain-free. It is still unbelievable that I have become this fit and can do things that I never thought I would do again.
I feel ten years younger and sleep so much better because I am no longer in pain. I have so much more energy to help me cope with my busy schedule, and I am far more effective with my work.
Margie is just fantastic! She is constantly learning the latest techniques and passing that knowledge on. I have found her understanding and excellent understanding of the human body. And on top of all that, she’s a wonderful person and accepts people she meets right where they are at. She has completely changed my life; I can’t recommend her highly enough.
