Here’s what some clients say about AntiGravity Aerial Yoga at Vibes Fitness.
Danica Lani – Vibes Antigravity Yoga is a breath of fresh air. – Margie’s studio at Vibes Fitness is a breath of fresh air. Her commitment to people being the best they can be in their bodies shines through. AntiGravity Yoga is such a treat. To be cocooned in a white silk hammock allows me to leave the busyness of my day behind me and to set a deep and powerful Drishti (intention). The benefit of the hammock flows all the way through to my lymphatic system, which allows for deeper elimination of toxins from the body. The sensation of flying is second to none as I go beyond the fears that could stop me and trust in Margie and the hammock.
This partnership has taken my yoga practice to a whole other world of delicious experience. Danica Lani – Yoga teacher

Mel says, “AntiGravity Yoga was the best thing I ever did.”Melissa suffered from severe sciatica for four months. The pain ran down her upper right thigh, burning, stabbing pain at times, which ran the complete length of her leg. This pain reduced her to tears many nights, and she often had sleepless nights. Margie from AntiGravity Yoga Melbourne Melbourne liaised with Mel’s doctor. In only two months of doing AGY, Mel was sleeping again, and the pain had diminished. She is her old self again, sleeps fine and is pain-free. Her doctor wanted to discuss surgery with her prior to AntiGravity Yoga, and he could not believe she was transformed.

Lizy says, “AntiGravity Yoga Inversions relieved three years of back and neck pain! “ I am a 48-year-old female who has been diagnosed with osteoarthritis and has suffered from lower back and neck pain for three years now. For the past two months, I have been participating in Margie’s AntiGravity private sessions – inverting and all the other moves. The relief I have experienced from participating in AGY is outstanding. I want to encourage everyone in pain to give Antigravity yoga a go. Give Margie a call today and book a private session or join a group. However, I recommend private sessions if you have lots of pain, as you get 100 % attention.

Rebecca healed her migraines with AntiGravity Yoga. My name is Rebecca, and I have had migraines for eight years. Anyone who has suffered from migraines knows it can be debilitating, and I often have to go to bed as I throw up and cannot function. Three months ago, I had a complimentary consultation with Margie at Vibes Fitness, AntiGravity Yoga, and she could relate to my problem as she used to get migraines. So I gave it a go, and in the last three months, I have had 15 private sessions. Margie changed my diet, assisted me in managing my stress levels & balanced my lifestyle. Vibes Fitness is a holistic package. (update after three months of aerial yoga)I now have chosen to share with you the exciting news that I have had no migraines for the last month. I feel amazing and am hooked on Aerial yoga and Margie’s caring ways. Margie actually cares about me and understands my dilemma. I highly recommend AntiGravity Yoga to ALL who want to get rid of their migraines. AntiGravity Yoga Melbourne & Margie is a breath of fresh air. Even though I have no photo here, I am happy for anyone to call me if they want to chat about this. The 1st private session was a little scary, but Margie was there to support me the whole way. In the 2nd private session, I was moved to tears & I had an emotional release and could feel myself letting go. It blew me away. Go see Margie, she is amazing.

“AntiGravity Yoga helped me get rid of breast lumps.”I am 40 years old and have been attending AntiGravity Yoga private sessions for the last eight weeks. This is my personal experience. I have had breast cysts, fluid-filled, tiny sacs within the breast tissue for the last year. They are very common, especially over the age of 35. These cysts often vary in size during the menstrual cycle and may be tender & fluctuating hormone levels. I have had pain & lumps in my breasts for over one year.
Margie advised me to change my diet completely, decrease my stress levels, and get regular massages, including massaging the breast lumps and lymphatic drainage. In only eight weeks of participating in classes, my breast lumps are gone due to the deep massaging of the lymphatic system that we do in Antigravity Yoga. (warrior pose and mountain peak) it is a great way to cleanse your system and exercise, all whilst having a deep massage. Initially, it was very painful, and now I feel fabulous. Thanks so much, Margie and AntiGravity Yoga, for decreasing breast lumps and giving me a new lease on life. I’m so impressed with AntiGravity Yoga. I recommend it to all my friends and have put together a group. I love that Margie is flexible. She organized my group outside her normal timetable. I think that, like me, if you have painful breast lumps, do AntiGravity Yoga straight away – today- as it has helped me heaps and made a huge difference in my life. Veronica.

LULU lemon Bourke Street. Adriana, Indi, Lyndsay & Lucinda Participating in the Antigravity Aerial class at Vibes Fitness Melbourne. The girls loved the session. Lyndsay says .”What a treat! I have been involved in many athletic endeavours before, but never anti-gravity in nature! We had such a lovely time, a unique experience, in a beautiful atmosphere. You have to try this out if you haven’t already. This is definitely my kind of yoga, involving inversions, flips, handstands, splits, you name it…and you really get in touch with & where your body is in a space for balance. I loved this class with Margie and can’t wait to learn more!”

Monica & Annette Dental Health Services Victoria: Session 1: I tried Anti-Gravity Yoga tonight. I walked in heavy and stiff-shouldered…ready to give anything a go. “I can’t hang upside down”, but I did. “I can’t flip over”, but I did. With all that fun and challenge, I found myself walking out taller, lighter and without pain.
Session 2: What a long ‘physically pain-free’ week! I am counting down the days to my next AGY session. I was worried the benefits wouldn’t last, but they did! The body remembers. I am flipping and flying like a 10-year-old in the playground. It is so much fun and has so many benefits. Tonight, I walk out on a cloud; oh so light. My muscular flexibility has increased, and I am addicted to the decompression of my spine. I’d better find an extra session this week before it books out. Kind Regards, Monica Cutri

My experience of AG-Yoga By Dr Annette Humplik – Prosthodontist.
My story begins by surfing the net to find an AG Yoga instructor in Melbourne, having seen it performed on TV by the founder Christopher Harrison, a Former Broadway dancer and world-class competitive gymnast. I was fortunate to locate a wonderful practitioner – Margie of Vibes Fitness, who trained personally with Christopher Harrison. I have not looked back. I am still a novice, but am already reaping the health and fitness rewards promoted by this practice.
I am a Prosthodontist/Dentist by profession, and one of the occupational hazards of practising is lower back pain and posture. The same occupational hazards exist for Chairside Assistants, Dental Therapists, Oral Hygienists, Prosthetists and Surgeons of all disciplines, medical and dental, performing stand-up operations that can be extremely lengthy. Daily, repetitive, constrained and twisted positions place considerable musculoskeletal demands on spines and muscles, leading to muscle contracture (especially the hip flexor muscles) and head, neck and shoulder stiffness. As a result, many in the profession have to cut short their working lives due to such injuries.
There is strong evidence surmounting and supporting the occupational risk factors of dentists in relation to Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD), which may cut short the working life of such professionals. Personally, I have experienced many of those reported in my 23 years of practising life. I have been to 9 AG Yoga classes and can report noticeable changes to my muscle tone and posture. The changes were already noticeable after only three sessions. I catch myself out walking – taller and with the correct posture. My shoulders are drawn back into their correct position, and my back feels wonderful. You experience the most amazing deep-tissue muscle massage that even experienced masseurs cannot reach.
One of the postures we perform is called ‘Monkey’ which has you hanging upside down (inversion). This allows the vertebrae in the spine to decompress (from all that force of gravity), allowing hydration of the vertebral discs. A subtle message of the scalp occurs at the end when in cocoon pose (stimulating the hair follicles, no doubt) via the gentle swaying of the hammock until it becomes still and you feel totally balanced. We also Fly!
ANTIGRAVITY YOGA WILL extend your professional working life by reducing the debilitating symptoms of occupational MSD. You will have improved your quality of life, enabling you to do more with your life and family. One must find life balance and Aerial yoga can provide that. It certainly has for me. I have reaped the rewards in only a few sessions, and I believe every dentist and adjunct professional needs to ‘Monkey’ at the end of each day. Dr Annette Humplik – Prosthodontist

X-Rays Before and After AntiGravity Yoga. There have been hundreds of testimonials on how Christopher Harrison’s AntiGravity® Techniques have changed people’s lives. Below is an x-ray of one of our instructors in the Philippines and how zero-compression inversions and regular physical activity physically changed her scoliosis in less than 9 months! Kaitlyn says Antigravity Yoga has changed my life. This unique spin on yoga initially caught my interest as I’ve grown to be a cautious person.
When I was little, I’d never run at things with no fear or audacity, so no flips or climbing on the monkey bars for me. Margie Cerato’s adaptation of Anti-Gravity yoga has completely changed my life in that way. Learned to trust the hammock, Margie, engage my core and let go of those past
anxieties has brought me so far in my journey of eradicating fear. Thank you so much, Vibes Fitness, for this confidence – now I’ve got my 10-day snowboarding holiday booked for Winter, and I’m ready to go! Woohoo!! 🙂 xx https://www.facebook.com/AntiGravityYogaMelbourneMelbourne

Lavina loves working out at Vibes Fitness Melbourne.
I tried antigravity yoga for the first time with 10 of my girlfriends for one of our bimonthly “Chicks’ Club” experiences. We have tried quite a few new and challenging experiences, but antigravity yoga was up there with the most enjoyable. We were all really excited and slightly nervous before getting into the hammocks and watching Margie demonstrate numerous tricky moves. But with Margie’s support and enthusiasm- and a little bit of blind faith- we were all able to recreate numerous beautiful and elaborate poses. Antigravity yoga challenges us mentally and physically within a safe and playful environment. We all came away feeling much more confident, relaxed, and flexible. I will definitely go back! Kind Regards –Lucy Goode
